Gigi and Something Rotten seating/tickets

Planning on buying tickets to these within the next couple of weeks and wanted to get seating suggestions. I've been to the St. James before for Bullets and sat in orchestra right barely missing the overhang. I love sitting close for a good price (no more than $100-125) somewhere towards center. I got those Bullets tickets from TicketsNow when someone was selling them. I might be interested in the current $79 discount for Something Rotten and possibly the one for Gigi for $57-89. But where to sit and who to purchase from... let me know! :)

For Something Rotten- I'd recommend front/center mezz (which is actually where the creative team sat during the final dress)

For Gigi- just not rear mezz. I ended up moving up about 10 rows-- with the blessing of an usher before anyone freaks out about me moving--, but I just forgot how deep that theatre is when I bought my ticket originally!

What *is* the front row of the Orchestra at the St. James for this? I know that's set aside, evidently, for rush, I'm just curious if/when they'll release (non-premium) seats down front. Is the stage high?

The date I am looking for in May had seats in rear orchestra and had angles in the closer rows, but I was able to snag one in the 2nd row of center mezz.

Gonna look for Gigi tickets in the morning using the 35% off code.

I saw Bullets Over Broadway from the front row at the St. James. The seats were labeled partial view and the stage was quite high but honestly they were not bad and I didn't feel as if I missed anything.

I also saw Big Fish from the rear mezz (I want to say row R?) and I didn't feel far away at all.

I was attempting to use the GIGI 35% discount (which my email says expire 5/30) but it expires 5/3. I wanted to try for the matinee on 5/17. I also joined Tix4Students for me and my classmates to use, but those seats are for rear mezz which was discouraged. Any other good discounts/codes out there for GIGI? Might have to wait until another is announced, IF that.

Well for $37 (the tix4students price) the rear mezz really isn't a bad deal. It's not an obstructed view or anything. I just felt so far away, which is why I discouraged it.

I sat in row N of the mezzanine when I saw Bullets, and the view was PERFECT.

Just to toss another question to this thread -- if I were only to see either GIGI or SOMETHING ROTTEN, which would you recommend over the other?

I haven't seen Something Rotten. But Gigi and On the Town are 2 shows that no one should miss.

I bought a $79 ticket yesterday for mid May for Something Rotten. Selection was very good, but I quickly chose front row mezzanine, 3 seats in from the aisle in a side section. I've sat there before and LOVE those seats.

I rushed Gigi on Thursday and was in Row X of the Center Orchestra. When I got the seat number and saw where it was I dread the entire event that I wasn't going to be able to see. Must to my surprise the seats were perfect and you could see everything, even the top of the Giant Staircase (The grown Jewel of this set).
