Girl Scout Cookies....

Should be illegal.

They are too addictive. I hate this time of year- Can't go to a store without buying some.

I thought there was a thread on this but I couldn't find it besides the one about Andy Rooney so forgive me if there is one.

I never cared for Girl Scout Cookies, but everyone else seems to love them. Then again, I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so that may explain it.

Our neighbor just gave us a box of the Peanutbutter Sandwich cookies. They were wonderful, but my favorites are the thin mints and the chocolate covered peanutbutter ones.

I like the thin mints and the Samoa's (sp?). I always wondered why they were called Girl Scout cookies when the Girl Scouts don't make them...

I have a severe weakness for Tagalongs, well pretty much anything that mixes Chocolate & peanut butter!

Just a fair warning: Don't look at the calorie content. Actually, don't look at the nutrition label at all. (or...rather, lack of nutrition.)

Are they made from real Girl Scouts?

I LOVE THEM! I eat them all. My favorites are shortbread, chocolate/peanut butter, and apple/cinnamon.

I bought eight boxes from a girl I babysit for last week. Eek!

I remember being a Girl Scout. Competition for the biggest sale was fierce. There were prizes, and there was a different theme every year.

Do different companies make the cookies in different parts of the country? As far as I knew, they haven't been called Tagalongs or Samoas for a while. Though I do remember when that's what they were called.

My favorite is Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalongs, if you will). I've easily gone through boxes of those.

And I'm not too embarassed to admit that I'm still a Girl Scout, a senior Girl Scout (the farthest you can go). So I usually get to eat all the cookies we don't end up selling - we usually buy extra, since people always want to buy the cookies when we have them, which is long after we're actually selling them.

Memories from my childhood. My family is too health conscious now. We don't order girl scout cookies anymore.

Stupid calories.
