Apologies if this already exists, but couldn't find an earlier thread.
I'm looking at some partial view seats for Girl from North Country for a Saturday evening. How bad is the view? The are far House Right on the far aisle. I'm not too familiar with the Belasco and haven't been there in years.
I had partial view seating for Jagged Little Pill (not the same theatre I know) and it wasn't as bad as I would have thought.

I saw last Sunday’s matinee and the box office upgraded our side seats (not partial view) to center. Sadly, the show is selling so poorly right now (ours was maybe 30-40%) that you should get the cheapest seats and then either be upgraded or just move.

I think far left would be better than far right. There's a really impactful moment that happens on stage left and I missed it sitting in a partial view house right seat (fortunately it was my 2nd time seeing the show). The drum set blocks the view depending on how close to the front you are.

Correct. Buy the worst seats possible and you will still be upgraded. Ive done that for many shows I knew were barely selling and it works every time. Sadly, this beautiful show isn't connecting with audiences and will probably close in the coming months.

The show is connecting with the audiences that are there. I know so many people who said this was the show they went to when their original choice was canceled due to COVID. They were moved deeply and so glad they went. If only they were getting more people... Most who attend walk out after loving it.

That's obviously not what I meant. It's not selling well therefore it's not connecting to a large audience. Period.

BCfitasafiddle, that’s my story too!!
OP, we bought TDF seats and got Orchestra G 2-4. There was literally no one else in our row. I feel confident if you aren’t moved you will be able to slide down.

"Obviously," your phrasing was misleading.
No worries.

Honestly.. I went up to get rush tickets at 8:01 for one of the 8 pm shows (my other show fell through and I didn't know where to go but I knew this would be open) and I was able to get center orchestra for $40.. I would highly recommend getting rush whenever you arrive there, they'll always have some left. The show is amazing, it's really a shame that it's selling so poorly that prime orchestra is considered rush.

Not hard to win front row lottery tickets for $39.

Hate to say it, but skip this show. It's a total bore. There are FAR better musicals on right now - go see something else instead..
