Great cast. It should have even more awesome names!

Saw this concert tonight and I have to say, it was truly fantastic. An excellent selection of songs, from the expected ("Send in the Clowns," "Being Alive") to the less so ("Remember?" "Advantages of Floating in the Middle of the Sea"). All the performers were excellent, singing roles they might never be cast in. David Loud was the host, providing information about the Prince and Sondheim collaboration, giving some context to the shows, and also providing anecdotes about his own experience in the original production of Merrily. The latter section took on a great deal of poignancy because of that- Liz Callaway, another vet of the production, sang "Old Friends" to Loud.
Other standouts include Kate Baldwin's "You Could Drive a Person Crazy," which had new jazz arrangements, Heidi Blickenstaff and James Clow's "A Little Priest" (Heidi really needs to play Lovett someday), Jason Daniely, Jeremy Jordan, and James Clow on "Sorry Grateful."
It was just such a well-performed, conceived, and executed evening.

I just got home from the matinee and what a terrific show! Highlights for me were "Could I Leave You" by Kate Baldwin, "A Little Priest" by Heidi Blickenstaff and Jim Clow and "A Weekend in the Country" by the entire cast.
And I totally agree and would love to see Heidi play Lovett someday. It would be a real treat.
