Then we see Rachel (mascara running, hair ruffled, one high heel shoe) walking down the street in the rain past a mugging and a shooting (this is New York, afterall) singing "Walking in Memphis" and as the song comes to an end cut to Kurt lying in the alley outside the club, blood gushing from his nose... "in the middle of the pouring.....rain"

I earnestly believe that Rachel will have some trite audition/agent meeting where she will have her own Coco undressing or casting couch moment. The bad, bad man will accuse of her not being edgy enough. Then, after a talk with Finn, she will rise above it, singing Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side"
