Were there any/many speeches today after the show? I was at yesterday (Saturday)'s matinee and Marc and Scott were in the audience and came out the stage door afterwards.

Marc did a cute little conducting stint at the top of Act 2.

At the end of the show, Marc and Scott did go up on stage and spoke. Marc told a story about an 18 year old boy who contacted him on Facebook. The boy was struggling with coming out and asked Marc to call him. He was torn, but ultimately made the call. After talking to the boy about coming out, Marc said that he was depressed about his show (Catch Me) closing. The 18 year old said something like "Why be depressed? You had show on Broadway!" (I'm sure I butchered the story, but that was the essence).

Marc also gave a special thank you to Aaron and called him their dream come true.

Another highlight of the show today was that Aaron got a standing ovation after Goodbye.

TJ2 beat me to it.

That standing ovation for Aaron after "Goodbye" was truly a moment I don't think I'll ever forget.

Also, "Don't Break The Rules" stopped the show cold and Norbert kept trying to push the arms of the ensemble members down, but they wouldn't budge.

"Anybody that goes to the theater, I think we’re all misfits, so we ended up on stage or in the audience.” --- Patti LuPone.

Echoing what others have already said. Catch Me was one of my favorite shows of the season, and I am said to see its run end so soon. I was fortunate enough to attend today's closing performance, and it didn't disappoint in the slightest.

"Don't Break the Rules" got huge applause. Norbert trying to force ensemble member's hands down was great, especially because you could see how pleased they were for Norbert.

As for "Goodbye"... it was honestly one of the best performed numbers I have ever seen. Aaron put everything he had into it, managing to not get too choked up as he sang those awfully fitting lyrics, and it was wonderful to see the audience respond. The standing ovation gave me serious chills, and I also saw Tom Wopat and Linda Hart standing in the aisle and applauding as well. You could tell that Aaron was overwhelmed... he sort of motioned to the audience to stop clapping, and when they stood, he just kind of turned to Norbert and looked at him like "Is this for real?" and Norbert just nodded with this proud look on his face. It was wonderful to see Aaron get the recognition he deserved from the audience. Such a great moment.

Wish I could have seen it! One of my new favorite scores, and I absolutely love Aaron and Norbert. Glad to hear they got the praise they deserve

I saw this show back in May and absolutely LOVED it. Tveit and Butz were both phenomenal and I am going to miss this show so much. I listened to the audio recording of Aaron singing "Goodbye" on Closing Night and it literally brought tears to my eyes hearing him get all emotional singing that song for the last time. I am terribly sad to see this show go, but all good things must come to an end.

I look forward to seeing what the cast and crew will do next in their careers! Best of luck!

NovaNurse, your description of Tveit's final performance of Good-bye gave me goosebumps, just trying to imagine what it must have been like. I would have given anything to have been able to see it. I agree with many here who think that this was the best show of the season! It will be missed, but hopefully the tour will happen.
