I really loved this show. Sad to see it end so soon after it opened. Wish all involved the best!
Speaking of which, I imagine Tveit's "Goodbye" will be particularly emotional today. I wish the cast recording captured this song more in the context of the show!
Glad we saw it. A shame it did not make it.

It is a shame this show is closing. Loved every minute of it. Norbert and Aaron were terrific together and the entire cast was so talented. Hope they have a great run with the tour! Good luck to everyone involved. Have a great closing show!

It's so sad..
I saw 11 shows on broadway last 2 weeks and this was one of the best!
Better then boring Spider-man and dated How to succeed...
(shoot me.. but I found Catch me beter than Book of Mormon..)
i LOVED Catch Me. i am soo sad to see it close today! It was an all around great musical.
Finally saw it yesterday. I still think that about 90% of the score is one of the best jazz-based scores on Broadway in YEARS. Wonderful performances. The actual show itself had me wondering when the next song would occur, but overall it was a great evening at the theatre. Tveit's applause for 'Goodbye' rivaled Butz's for 'Don't Break the Rules'. It was really superb. Tveit, Butz, Wopat, and de Benedet gave really excellent performances. And Linda Hart was HYSTERICAL with her limited role!!

Sorry to see Catch Me go. I thought this was going to have a good run. I saw it in August and thought it was a really entertaining night at the theater with a very talented cast. I wish all the cast the best of luck!!!!

My nieces and their mom were having a shopping weekend a few weeks back, and like every gay uncle I asked them what show they were seeing. They had no plans, so I suggested they see "Catch Me..." They loved it. I had taken the girls to see "Hairspray" the Monday before it opened, we met the cast and got the CD signed, and it was a pivotal moment for them. I was glad my concierge service came through once again with "Catch Me..."
Very upset to see this go...I've been following this show since Seattle and thought it would run for MUCH longer.

It will have a fantastic stock & amateur life. New York, after all, is the center of New York.
I saw this show the last week of August and adored it. As a dancer, I particularly loved the female ensemble, the choreography was fantastic. All the leads were on the top of their game, and I was lucky enough to see Alex Ellis as Brenda, and I hope that this leads to big things for her. I'm very sad to see this show go, it was a truly fun, entertaining theatrical experience.
This was by far my favorite show this season and I will miss it greatly <3 SO thankful we got a wonderful cast recording and that I even got a chance to see it on Broadway :)
Saw this in August and so glad I caught it before its untimely end. So sad and quite shocked to see it go!! Thought it would have a solid year run at least!! Cant see what went wrong!! Guess it sadly got lost in the shuffel!! Definatly a good afternoon in the theatre!! Will always remember the opening number, breaking all the rules, and Fly Fly Away!!!!
Wish best of luck to the whole case...especially Norbet who stole the show many times!!
Definatly catch it on tour if you can!!
One of my favorites of the season, and certainly the best score I've heard in years. I'm so sad I can't be there to see it a third time today. I don't think I could hope myself together during "Fly, Fly Away."
Best of luck to all involved.

Yeah, I was thinking about Tveit singing "Goodbye." There's no question that it'll be emotional.
I'm pretty upset that this show has to close so soon... I enjoyed it, when I saw it. I mean, there are worse shows out there that got to stay open longer than this one.

I didn't see this show. But saw the number from the Tony show and was not impressed. Not impressed enough to jump on a plane and fly to NY and plunk down $100 to see it. Don't the producers of these shows know that they have to get the out-of-towners into NY to keep these shows running? New Yorkers alone can't do it. Was the song they decided to put on the Tonys the best number to showcase this musical?
At least the Cast Album while forever have people fooled that the show was good on stage. Absolute bore for me, but Norbert's performance was sublime. The Tviet just baffles me.

I think the show deserved a longer run. Sad to see it close so soon!
It was by far my favorite show of the season- I won the Charity Buzz Auction for closing tickets and the after party- my wife is going in my place because we couldn't get anyone to watch our girls- she has been sending me text messages about how amazing the show was today, and that the speeches were very sad- she too loved the show and was shocked that it couldn't find an audience. I'll post more from the after party when she lets me know how it went.

@redmustang. I think you might be in the minority with your opinion. I thought that the company did a great job during the Tony broadcast. In fact, it was that performance that made me take a chance on buying a ticket to see CMIYC.
It's so unfortunate that this show wasn't able to make a go of it. It was a huge surprise for me. So entertaining.
And what a score!!
I was at the first preview and it will always remain one of the most amazing evenings I have ever spent in the theatre. So sad to see it and wishing the best to all involved. I hope the show can have a great tour and a healthy regional life because the score is too good to be forgotten.
This was also one of my favorite shows of the season, I really enjoyed it. Shame to see it close so early.
