Tony-Winning Revival of CHICAGO to Offer Free Performance for Facebook Fans

I just signed up... i have a feeling there may be no good seats left already because they already have 12500 fans (at 10 fans per ticket that 1,250 seats sold)
Actually, there have only been about 600 new people since they started this... This page isn't new. It has been up for nearly 3 years now! There's still a good chance to get tickets. Believe me, I've been keeping track, because I really want to go!
That's lovely. Wish I could take advantage, but I'm in the actual city of Chicago.

Can't Nancy Coyne just insult Cleveland again so that Barry and Fran offer free tickets to those of us who live there as a way to make peace? That was a much easier way to see the show for free a couple years ago, lol.
It's mayhem over there. So many people are on the site using the "free tickets" function that none of the counters are working to show how many people each person got to sign up.
I got 15 friends to like and still no ticket!!!! I hope this is for real!

Anyone wanna help me out?

I GOT THE MESSAGE ALSO.....GENERAL ADMISSION...WHATEVER THAT MEANS (ALTHOUGH THE EMAIL SAYS ORCHESTRA0
They're counting by people who are your friends. If strangers sign up who aren't attached to me they don't count.

It means you won't know where you're sitting until you get there. I'm under the impression the seating is kinda first come/first serve.
I don't know if it's their slow servers or if something just isn't right, but I have had over 25 people like it for me (reached the 10 people mark about 6 hours ago), and my count is only at 3 likes.
They keep saying it is overloaded, so who knows what is happening. If I go, great, if not, oh well.
Yeah, things are pretty slow. After a 5 hour wait my counter went from "0" to "Congratulations almost immediately.
I got one of the tickets! I don't care where I'm sitting, it'll be nice to re-visit the show after seeing Paige Davis as Roxie back in 2004.
My email says nothing about "general admission." It says "We'll be sending you another email in the near future with complete ticketing details."

the general admission was posted on the Facebook page, when someone asked if he could get his ticket next to his mother. The page responded with it's a GA ticket......
I invited a bunch of people, only 4 liked so far...fail.
In an inquiry I posted, it said, by order of confirmation email, is how you will be seated. The tickets will be mailed in january...
BTW, I WON!!!!

Alright, so this is what I got. I dunno what this means. Did I win? Can I still get likes? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
If you've won you'll see the picture that I posted previously
^ Actually, no. I originally got the winning picture, but they changed it to this as an appreciation to their fans. You need to check your e-mail to see if you won.

Well this is what it said underneath:
"This promotion has now ended and we are no longer accepting new entries. If you've already signed up, we'll be sending you an email in the next 24 hours to let you know your current status.
Everyone that signed up is still eligible to win -- we will not run out of tickets. All you have to do is make sure at least 10 of your friends "like" the official Chicago The Musical Facebook page! If you already got 10 friends to like it, you will get a ticket, and you will be contacted by us in the next 24 hours.
Don't worry, all of your "likes" will be counted!"
I'm still confuzzled!
i got the original email that is shown up above...Congratulations you have won".....no more since last night.
Got my email today asking for where to send the ticket. The email subbject is "Details for your free ticket to Chicago". Don't accidentally delete it like I almost did.
So watch your inboxes (and spam folders).
