Yes - a great Broadway season next year for sure. I've already seen Finian - but hope to see all the rest next April! (apart from LND, which I will probably see in London - mainly for Ramin rather than for the show itself).

Love the score of Promises Promises and Kristin is way beyond fantastic - so that's right up near the top of my list!

There's also the City Center Encores' production of Anyone Can Whistle in April, starring Sutton Foster, which I desperately want to see.

I was doing some research today, and the 09-10 B'way season seems to be, one again, all about the revivals. Already announced/opened new musicals we have:
Burn the Floor
Memphis
Fela!
Spider-Man
The Addams Family
Sondheim on Sondheim

There has to be some other stuff still to be announced (Catch Me if You Can, Minsky's, Sister Act) otherwise this is set to be an absolutely pitiful year for the new Musical.

Heavy on the revival front and I have feeling Promises, Promises is pegging huge bets on pulling big crowds to The Broadway Theatre...

Looking forward to Adams Family.

Shame First Wives Club was poorly done. Such good potential.

I dissagree in a nice way, think it is a good year for new musical in New York, but if you were alluding to London I completely agree with you.

Im more than likely going in August next year with my mum for a short break, and I hope that Finian's and Ragtime are both still open by then.

I CANNOT wait for the addams family.
Any more news on sister act transer
