hahaha - that'd be hysterical/amazing if it was for Harry Potter and the HBP, lol...
I have a green one that says Defy Gravity that I got to support a local drama club for a high school I work through...but yeah, somethin' tells me that's not it either...
My instinct, given that it's Rent, is that it's something to do with Aids Awareness - perhaps it's the new trend instead of the red ribbon? I dunno - maybe it'll be some kind of marketing tool along with the movie's release to raise some kind of money for a charity that helps with AIDS or a Jonathon Larson foundation or something, I dunno...the stuff on that chart seemed kinda random for Rent to be promoting it.

Posted: 8/11/05 at 1:44ami could be wrong here, but i was at the today show and i saw someone offer idina a neon green bracelet and she thanked them and took it, so i wouldn't be surprised if they were giving them out to all 8 of them but some of the guys decided to put the bracelets on for bryant park....dont know what they stand for...hope this helps

stores like claires and stuff sell them with sayings like "spoiled" and "brat"
The only offical charity ones I can think of are
RED - BCEFA
WHITE - "ONE" for LIVE 8
YELLOW - LIVESTRONG
PINK - American Cancer Soiety Breast Cancer, but i think they do one color for each type of cancer
and theres one for supporting the war, but i don't know what color
