I wish this game existed. What songs would be good in it? Here are the ones I can think of:
Rent (from Rent)
The Bitch of Living (from Spring Awakening)
Confrontation (from Les Miserables)
It's Your Wedding Day (from The Wedding Singer)
All Over the World (from Xanadu)

Can there be AUDITION PIANIST? The fun new game for Nintendo Wii...
Challenges would include sight reading a Jason Robert Brown piece with the bottom cut off.

Posted: 12/7/08 at 11:14amHow about reading JRB with coffee stains all over the music. I have been waiting for Broadway Guitar Hero or Rock Band forever. When I go over to my friend's house and we play Rock Band, yes I may kick ass in some of the rock songs, but damn I'd really kick ass with those Showtunes.

Adam Guettel would have some good guitar stuff. Like "The Riddle Song" from Floyd Collins.
Oh, and let's not forget Jesus Christ Superstar.

re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#6
Posted: 12/7/08 at 11:35amAll of the easy songs would be Andrew Lloyd Webber! :P

I'd fork out so much money for that. Amazing!
I'm trying to think of other guitar heavy showtunes..
re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#9
Posted: 12/7/08 at 12:29pmWhat about "There is Life Outside Your Apartment" from Ave Q?
re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#11
Posted: 12/7/08 at 12:48pmWhat about the heavy guitar that's in the London version of Defy Gravity?
re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#12
Posted: 12/7/08 at 12:54pmOh what about "Chow Down" from The Lion King. That could be in the easy songs also.

I'm still holding out hope for Singstar: Broadway. In the meantime, I guess I'm just going to have to buy the Abba and Disney versions and pretend. ;_;
re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#16
Posted: 12/7/08 at 3:52pmI was thinking Casualty of Love from The Wedding Singer

I'd buy it!
It should be rock band though, so we can sing!

re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#20
Posted: 12/7/08 at 5:10pmIf they made this I would buy an xbox 360 just for that game!
re: Guitar Hero: Broadway Edition#21
Posted: 12/7/08 at 6:21pmThis is too funny. When I first got Rock Band I told my family that they should make a Broadway version. Of course they all laughed at me. Now when we play, while a song is loading, my sister and I pretend to be playing "Defying Gravity" and other such songs.
