I know this post is dragged out. But Me and two friends wanted to get the front row $27 seats. We would get to the theater at 3 for an 8 oclock show. Would we have a chance getting them? Or are they usually sold out of those tickets by then? thanks
People start lining up between 9:15 and 9:30 for these. The front row usually sells out minutes after the box office opens. Only 10 seats. Then there are partial view and balcony seats available for $27.
I assume after these reviews, they are going to be going even quicker.

I did the front row thing the second week of previews, It was amazing. I did it on a thursday morning and got there around 9 and there was one other person in line before me. The rest of the front row seats were all sold by 11. I dont know if that would be the case now, considering that more people are coming to see the show now than in previews, so my advice would be get there early!
I'm assuming I would need to be there very early for a Sunday matinee? How early?
Well the box office opens at 12 on Sundays.
So 10:30-11:00 will be good, I think.
Ok. Sounds good. Thanks, ljay.
Get there early and get those seats! There is no way to truly describe what it is like being so close to Patti's performance. It is a thrill that I won't ever forget.
I will get there three hours early if I have to.
I just really don't want to sit in mezz row P. Plus, it's much cheaper.
Do it! It's worth waiting for rush tickets to see it up close!

I sat last row balcony and I didn't think they were that bad!
The show was still great from the balcony, but I was moved to tears when I sat in the front row. Much more personal and emotional in the front row.
Nothing else can really compare to being that close though. It was beyond words.
These seats are my dream! I so want to live in NYC!

Or have enough money to be able to fly there on the weekends.
about how high up is the stage? i want to take my younger sister to see it, but she's on the shorter side (4'10"). i plan on doing student rush (for front row seats) on a thursday. should i just get rear balcony seats to be on the safe side?
The stage is very high.
They also have partial view for $27.
I saw plush red pillows sitting around up in the balcony, which I would suspect are there for that exact problem. I'd ask an usher to help me in locating one of the cushions.
Aren't the booster seats usually only permitted to children? How old is you sister?
she's 13. i think i may end up getting student tickets earlier on - for rear balcony seats, so that way she'll be more comfortable. plus she's not too picky about seat location. i would pay more to get better seats, but hey i'm a poor college student. haha.
