Just saw the Peters version so until this turns up on TDF we will pass.
I like Lupone but no way am I paying full price to see Gypsy again.

Looks like they filmed the video just for the website. Considering how truncated the song was, and the staging was different.

Also, I'm starting to really like the blue theme. If you've seen this production, the blue design is actually fitting. The production has a pretty dark tone. I just wish they used a different picture.

Am I the only one that hears the loud 'thunks' when you navigate onto different icons?
Otherwise, not a bad job. I do like the intro sequence.

Posted: 3/25/08 at 9:08pmGreat site! I love the video! I think the opening recording is the same as the video. Question - In the video, she doesn't rip the note at the end of "Roses" like she did at CC. Does she do it in the show. Saw that part on YouTube and LOVED it, so I hope it's still in!

Posted: 3/25/08 at 9:11pmThe ending of "Roses" is quite different on the video. It's a lot more ferocious live. I just saw it last night, front row, and she ripped up the letter and threw it right at us.

Ugh. LOOOOOOVE it. Seeing how the marketing has been for this show, I was kinda excpecting it to be awful. But it just made me *so* excited for May 10th!

The member who keeps updating us on the recording said they haven't recorded it yet.
But I hope that isn't from the CR, because her ending of 'Roses' is MUCH more intense during the actual performance.
