No pictures up on the show page today YET, HOWEVER, the North Shore homepage has a few images up now! Each time you load the main page, a new image appears.. only a few, but still... Tracy and Link in the finale, Big Dollhouse, Penny and Tracy watching the Corny Collins Show.......

I really can't wait to see this show. I like how they are using similar costumes, etc. I think it will work really well in the round -- they always find great ways to adapt the shows.

I'm seeing it early next month so we'll see!!

no disrespect to the original- but its always nice to see other creators visions of the show.

It look so similar to the Broadway version, looks great.

I do really like that colorful stage, as others have said.

The costumes are the same as they were on Broadway, as they are using the Vegas companies costumes. It does look like Paul's opening dress is made froma a patterened fabric instead of the solid pink one.

I always think a show in the round is just such a creative approach for a show. I saw a version of "Cabaret" once and it was so great!

Yes, I like that they are using the Vegas costumes.. it makes it, for ME, more interesting.. especially due to Gerard Kelly's wigs.. I looks very much like the Hairspray I know and love, yet, in a wierd way, not.. it is amusing to see the costumes under slightly different hair. The show deck looks very interesting. I very much hope to see this. Anyone attend the first preview?

Would love to see this, especially with Paul Vogt. He's so funny (from what I saw of him on MadTV - wasn't he on All That on Nick at Night as well?). I met him in person at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art - he was really nice. I got to tell him how much of a fan I was. He told me that some of the skits on the show were his idea, like the Fanta girls commercial parody - so funny!

I wanted to see the show in Las Vegas, but I was against cutting the show to a 90 minute show - I would have felt cheated!

I just feel like Paul is amazing in this role. Next to Harvey he may be the second best. He was always great as the woman character on MadTv etc....i hope he is that great!!!!!

Does anyone else notice how much they photoshopped that picture of Bridie Caroll where she has her hand on her shoulder and she's turning to the camera? Make it full size, and you can see how the skin was all smoothed and how scratchy the places they missed are. Just pointing it out.

Wow. The pictures look great. I am hoping to see it in the next few weeks. Weren't there people complaining that the girl playing Tracy was too thin and old? I don't know where that came from.. she looks like a hefty hideaway girl here. I wonder if they will have video like they did with the other shows this year or if it is restricted because of the show running on Broadway.

so trippy.. i am just gawking at the different use of costumes and the mixing and matching of pieces and the like.

A few things that jump out at me faster than anything, the Brenda finale dress (green sleeveless with stripes) is used as a standard dress for one of the girls... and in the finale, one black girl wears the Lorraine finale dress, while another girls wears the 'standard use' Lorraine dress...

some of the new wigs look great, some have me doing double takes because they look SO different.....

I am amused at a LITTLE Inez in the INEZ finale costume.

Wow, some of the choreography is very different. But I really like how a lot of it is staged, especially "60s".
