Hey Everyone,
I just got an e-mail about how the soundtrack will now be released on the 17th instead of the 10th...is that true? Amazon, said that it was pushed back...did anyone else get this e-mail?

Posted: 7/6/07 at 6:40pmyeah Amazon, says July 10th, too, but I got the e-mail from Amazon saying that I shall get the CD on July 17th instead of the 10th or 11th, because they have not arrived in stock yet, mainly because the CD has been pushed back or other problems...that is what I got from Amazon.

Posted: 7/6/07 at 9:48pmI didn't get an e-mail and the shipping date on my order page still says July 10 ! I hope I am lucky. Could it be because I am overseas and arrival time is already longer, so they ship ours first (the few that they maybe got anyway) ?

A friend's kid brother works at BestBuy and they received their shipment yesterday (Saturday 7/7/07), so it's release date is indeed July 10th. They tend to receive their Tuesday release date merchandise (DVDs, CDs, etc.), the previous Saturday, but they are forbidden to be put on shelves until that Tuesday.

My friend works at Borders and they haven't received a shipment yet- but I am pretty sure the release date is still Tuesday.

Most places receive Tuesday release date merchandise the weekend before. It depends on the shipping ompany as to when it arrives. Some places even get it weeks before. I remember buying RENT on DVD almost a month before it was officially released. Best Buy isn't anything special in this respect.
