Posted: 1/9/14 at 5:05pmDoes anybody know if the efforts to move HONEYMOON IN VEGAS musical to Broadway have fizzled? I'm wondering whether the buzz of great reviews hs faded and if there is still hope to bring the show to Broadway in 2014. Any news or gossip?

Posted: 1/9/14 at 5:09pmThe show will be coming in this fall. Between the lack of available theaters and the difficulty surrounding Jason Robert Brown's schedule with THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY this spring, they decided to wait until next season.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Posted: 1/9/14 at 8:03pmThey obviously don't want 2 JRB shows competing for Tony Awards. Also, there are no theatres. Hope they do a pre-broadway national tour.
