Afra Hines is taking another leave starting end of October to early December. She’s a worker and is an u/s Persephone. With Lana coming in, could she take any shows that Amber is out? Or would they have Jewelle come in to u/s Persephone?

Do we think the cast will be there the early dates of November 2-4? 

And Khaila said the first official Eurydice date, so I wonder if Eva will be taking off more dates soon?

I don't have a ticket for 11/5...yet. If there's word that John will be on too it will be hard for me to miss!

I had a ticket to see Khaila and John in March 2020 but covid shut everything down. I haven’t been to NYC since beginning of 2020 and Hadestown was my last show. It would be wonderful for Hadestown to be my first show back AND see the understudies I was supposed to see 19 months ago.

Anyone have any insight/know if there's any chance of a John Orpheus debut on October 20-24? 

Or an Afra as Persephone show?

Afra almost never posts when she’s on which is perfectly fine. If you do have her, enjoy! She’s so much fun in the role!

Something to watch out for: Reeve has been trying to get to a supernatural convention in Italy for the past few years (2019 he cancelled due to the opening of Hadestown and 2020 was cancelled due to Covid).

The convention has a posted 2022 dates already:

Feb 23 to 27, 2022
Aug 26 to 28, 2022

The website has him as a confirmed guest on Feb 23 - 24 for JIBLAND5 and Feb 25 to 27 for JIBII.

I have been proven wrong! Haha I haven’t used Instagram probably since sometime in 2019 but when I did use Instagram, she never posted when she was on.

So Thursday and Sunday for Afra. Would you guys assume this will be the schedule she keeps? I've been wanting to see Hadestown forever. Had tickets April 2020 and rescheduled finally for November and then found out that for my date Eva would not be on and so I switched to Thursday night. Now I see Amber may not be on that night. I was hoping to see as  much of the original cast as possible but may just have to let that go!

Actually I see on Afra's Insta that she will be out Oct 24- Dec 7 so maybe I will get to see Amber!

Hard to say. Afra leaves for a few weeks end of October. And Lana Gordon starts soon as the Persephone alternate soon (she joins the cast officially today). I would just keep watching out for their social media pages and the Hadestown website for the alternate schedule. I actually prefer Afra over Amber (I’ve seen more Persephone understudies than Amber so that’s probably why). If you get Afra (or Lana who I’m assuming will be wonderful), you’re getting a great Persephone.

That's right I think I was getting Afra and Lana and their roles confused. I wonder what Lana's schedule will be.. . ..

I wonder if Amber's confirmed dates will be Sundays and Thursdays unless she'll be mixing it up a bit? Considering Afra said she'll be going on as Persephone for 10/14 and 10/17.

And I think Afra went in as Persephone yesterday? She posted about it on her Stories, so maybe* Sunday is a definite day Amber Gray won't be in.

We still need to figure out why Trent Saunders joined the cast. Has he gone on at all? Is he finally listed in the playbill?

Another alternate announcement is going to be made soon. Not a prediction, it's been set in motion for a few weeks already.
