Reeve has a really good attendance record, so I wouldn't be to worried about missing him. Andre on the other hand, has been very iffy recently. I would be prepared to see one of his understudies. I saw the show on October 2nd and got T. Oliver Reid. He was absolutely phenomenal and I preferred him over Mr. De Shields. I felt that his voice was much stronger. Good luck!

I second T! Also prefer him. I don’t understand the hype around Andre honestly. He’s great but also kind of boring.

What do we think about the attendance record of the OBC cast in January? I know Patrick is coming back in mid November, Kay in January, but I wonder about Reeve, Eva, Amber, and Andre.

If you go back a few pages I posted events for Eva, Reeve, and Andre. These are dates they
Might be out of the show. Pure speculation. But considering they’re out of state events (and ones out of country), more likely than not they’ll be out of the show.

Good to hear! I do follow both of the understudies for Reeve and Eva and it seems that John and Khaila usually announce about a month in advance when they will go on. Do any other cast members ever take the role of Orpheus or Eurydice?

Not sure Orpheus. I think maybe Anthony Chatman? But not sure.
But for Eurydice, Jessie Shelton has gone on. I’ve seen her and she’s wonderful. Have not see Khaila’s Eurydice.

I’ve seen Jessie’s fate, worker, and Eurydice. She’s a great fate and Eurydice. Worker is a little rough in act 1 but much better in act 2.

Yep you’re right. Anthony’s insta says understudy for Hermès and Orpheus! I know Reeve is in the Jeff Buckley biopic and was wondering when that would begin filming. Can’t find anything on it since March.

I have tickets for early January. Originally I had tickets for November but I pushed them back. And I'd really love to see Kay and Patrick when they return. I remember someone said on another thread, I can't locate it as of the moment, but a previous poster said the OBC might stay until February/March (keeping in mind, the out of state events Eva, Reeve, and Andre will/might have)

I believe Aug 2019 is when Amber took vacation and Kimberly and Afra split the Persephone week. But, that was over 2 years ago so I’m sure she had vacation time to use this year!

Ahhh I see! I wonder if she is possibly taking another one with any extra vacation time she might have, especially since Amber has already had 2 alternates - Lana and Afra?

Do any of Patrick Page's understudies sing in his key?  Or do they all sing up the octave?  Love Patrick's voice and that would be tough to see an understudy sing without that mysterious dark Bass voice.

I would imagine they would be the Wednesday dates? Two shows in one day for Lana.
