"Former Crossing Jordan star Kathryn Hahn has inked a talent holding deal with Fox.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hahn first drew the attention of Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly with her work as Lilly Lebowski for six seasons on Jordan. (Reilly ran NBC Entertainment during the second half of the show's run.) Marcia Shulman, Fox's head of casting, has also kept an eye on Hahn since first seeing her at Yale School of Drama's annual showcase for TV executives, and recently saw her in Broadway's Tony-winning comedy Boeing-Boeing.
"She was doing the kind of comedy that reminded me of Lucille Ball," Shulman said. "She is very approachable, she has a very positive, happy presence. She is a great physical comedian, and I think that is missing on TV.""

Good for her. She was really strong in BOEING.
Ouch, its FOX.
Well, we know where THAT deal is going to go.
Word of advice to Hahn: take the money and run!
Kathryn Hahn was my favorite part of BOEING-BOEING.
Absolutely hilarious.
Best of luck to her.
Kathryn Hahn was my favorite part of BOEING-BOEING.
Not while Mark Rylance was in the same show, but she was fantastic. Where was her Tony nomination??
Hahn was definitely my favorite part of BOEING-BOEING as well. She was just fantastic, I couldn't wait for her to come back to the stage whenever she stepped out. Everyone talked about the interactions between Rylance and McCormack, but to me, the interaction between Hahn and Rylance was way funnier (I almost peed my pants when she walked by and opened her towel to him). I think she definitely deserved a Tony nod, even on top of McCormack. Glad to see her get this deal, although that means she might not go back to Broadway soon
I think she'd make a great Karen Weston in AUGUST: OC, both on stage and in the proposed film.
Yay for her! She's done some pretty bad movies(IMO), not familair with her tv work, but loved her in Boeing Boeing!
She is terrific. Hope they can find a great vehicle for her.
She had a holding deal with NBC as well. They decided to cast her in Crossing Jordan instead of paying her to do nothing. It's clear from Boeing Boeing that she was restrained in her role on Crossing Jordan. Happy to hear that Fox sees her physical comedy strength. Hopefully they will give her a role that shows off all of her comedic ability. Very happy for her.

Oh my GOD, I almost passed out.
