They're including one of the performers on the cd with each one sent out. I'd hope for Adam, but I think Emcee might kill me. So I'll hope for Johhny T or Jai or Raul...

Dont' blame sh-k-boom... it's probably the fault of the manufacturer. My mother is a recording artist and once her manufacturer pressed CDs with the wrong music on them (aka a trumpet christmas album). We didn't realize it until people started to email us with complaints!

O.K. everyone needs to take a deep breath. The teeny tiny little Broadway world, no pun intended, seems to make people forget how everything really works, in addition to the adulation of *stars* no one has ever heard of. Let's put this into perspective. The only records that have such a quick turn around and all of a day or two in the studio to record are OCR's and recordings of this nature. How long do you think it takes your average pop star to record their albums as well as get them on the shelves? What beyonce' or Mariah Carey are dropping now was most likely recorded over the course of months, minimum, well over a year ago. Be grateful that Sh-K-Boom or Ghostlight, or whatever, has such a quick system going.

Doesn't the money from the sales go to the Actors Fund? Geez, how dare they take your money to give to needy people before you get to indulge yourself with the CD that other people were so willing to donate their time and energy into creating.

I had heard, unofficially, that Sony/BMG was looking into picking up distribution of this title, along with several other Shhhhh/Ghostlight releases. I wonder if this doesn't all somehow fit together. On one hand, I feel bad that people will have to wait to get their CDs, but it would be nice to have more outlets where to purchase these fine fine cast recordings....
