Saw the tour again tonight...first time being in Cleveland in June.
Still in great shape. I will post a longer, more in-depth review tomorrow.
I was suprised when I saw and met Steven Cutts. He was in the movie CAMP and the Toronto company of Hairspray. He was watching in the audience. He hopes to start performances on the tour next week.
I also met Christine Danelson, the new Tracy stand-by...who ROCKS by the way.
A shot out to her. Very sweet. Seems so thankful to be on tour just out of high school.
Review coming sometime tomorrow.

Yes, it really is turning into the Toronto company.
I also saw Dale Calandra and Jason Snow in the audience.
Review coming later today, I promise.

Posted: 9/21/05 at 3:53pmI haven't seen the tour in a while, but I can GUESS that the absense of the "light bright" background MIGHT be due to the particular venue; If the back wall of the stage isn't quite tall enough, they may not have been able to install the backgound in that theatre. (or maybe I'm wrong, just guessing)

Good point, Playbill...very true
I was on a little tour and sometimes we couldn't put our set in, which made it look even more rinky-dink...

No, they were planning on cutting the backdrop for a while now. I think the last time it was used was in DC.
