re: Hairspray Lottery

How has the lotto been lately? I am going next Friday night and want to try my luck at lotto.

Also - the lotto begins 3 hours before show (so 5pm) but when are the names called? 5:30?

re: Hairspray Lottery

The last three times I have gone by the theatre during the lottery time (Saturday Evening performance) everybody has won.

re: Hairspray Lottery

I won (as did everyone else) on a Wednesday mat in early April and the Sunday show (which ended up being Aaron's last day). When I say "Everyone won", there were legit 11 people at each of the lottos.

re: Hairspray Lottery

Sorry about the bump

What time do they draw exactly? Tomorrow's curtain is at 7PM.

re: Hairspray Lottery

Because it has been said that the lotto takes names three hours before curtain and people are talking about how the usual 8 PM shows have a lotto that start at 5 making that three hours before the show and then draw at 5:30 thirty minuets later. Since 5 is three hours before an 8 PM start time I would assume for a Tuesday the lotto sign up would begin at 4 with drawings starting at 4:30.

I guess my question is this ( Which I was going to make a thread for until I saw one that was already made albit a bit old) Is this generally an easy lotto to win. I am trying tonight tuesday if that means any difference. I guess what I am trying to figure out is overall is it easy to win now that the hype from the movie has died down?

re: Hairspray Lottery

I was at Hairspray lotto last Thursday, and it seemed like a fair amount of people didn't win. So it's definitely not a sure thing, but I think it's still one of the easier lotteries (if not the easiest).

re: Hairspray Lottery

yay for the search!

I want to try the lotto on wednesday - could anyone say if I have a better shot at the matinee or the evening?

re: Hairspray Lottery

Okay, second time I'm bringing this thread back from the dead!

With it being the Holiday Season and Hairspray closing in about 2 weeks- has the lotto been crazy?

re: Hairspray Lottery

My sister said it was crazy on Friday, probably partially because of the weather.
