oh, it most likely will get there. More paint, dressing, extras, cars, lighting. :) I'm soooo excited!
anyone know if there are auditions to be an extra in this movie? I remember they had the national auditions but are they still casting people to be extras?
I know they had auditions awhile back for ensemble roles.
I'm not sure who you could contact about that though.
Mateo,
This is completely off topic, but did you know that Marc Shaiman's childhood dog was named Mateo? Very interesting that you would pick that name, and then turn out to love hairspray so much! (Or did you know that already?)
Also, I love the colors they chose for the storefront! I'm very excited!!!
Keep in mind that it's 1962 in the film (and that it's a film) Whether the set is finished or not - the final look will really depend on the vision they are going for. They could either make it "cartoony" and bigger than life - or (just based on the costume fitting photos) - they MIGHT be going for a realistic look (which wouldn't be bad at all)
Way too early to tell anything until we see some actual footage :)
