I work part time at a retail store in dt Toronto and one day I met 3 cast members from the Drowsy Chaperone tour. I was helping them with their purchases and they were telling me they loved the city but they needed to go back Asap to the US because the hotels and food here were expensive and it was hurting their pocket. Who knows.. I find hotels more expensive in New York.
I wish there was a recording for the original Toronto cast of the Lord of the Rings. I really enjoyed the show. I hope Toronto shows start producing cds
I liked them both, but I would say Sweeney Todd was better. There were some things in Hairspray I didn't like (John Travolta's make up and voice) , but with Sweeney I was happy with everything really.
I was 17 when I saw my first show. I had recently moved to Toronto and I had never seen a musical before. I went to Mamma Mia on a school trip and I thought it was life changing because after that I was hooked.
