Im going to the Hal Prince Exhibit I believe on November 26th, does anyone have any tips about it, Can you take pictures/videos? I am in NY for a short time and I was dying to see the Exhibit since its announcement.
Thank You!
It’s an interactive exhibition so yes, photos and videos are permitted. I’ve seen people posting photos online of miniature set models and around props from THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Near the beginning of the exhibit, there's an office desk. In the drawers, there are reproductions of paperwork from shows, like invoices from vendors for costumes, sets, etc. I thought this was one of the most interesting parts of the exhibit so if you think you'd enjoy that, take some time to look through those.
It's well worth a visit. Lots to see. The many show posters and set models were quite interesting. Very enjoyable.
Cannot believe he is gone even now. Will not get in to see it. Years ago I would have already seen it Even a mild case of genetic neuropathy with sciatica thrown in Will slow you down .The city I knew is gone so even if health were not an issue the city no.longer interests me

I must have entered at the wrong end, as my walk through ENDED at the desk. Maybe both ends are entrances.
I agreed, the small desk is a highlight among many wonderful scenes, especially when the desk phone rings. You got to pick it up!

"Please don’t spoil it! Hahahah!
Does anyone know how long it is around the whole exhibit?
You can easily spend 2 and a half hours reading all the notes, listening to the audio tapes, taking selfies at the microphone in front of the silver tinsel backdrop, and more. I motored through in 45 minutes in October and will return in March when I know to set aside more time.
