I have a question - do they restrict the number of times you can win the digital lottery? For example, if I win the lottery today, am I able to win again tomorrow? I read through the FAQ's and I cant seem to find this answer.

1st lotto story : After Ham was at the Public Off-Broadway I went to the Box office at the Richard Rodgers with the If/Then marquee still up. I bought a 59$ ticket for their 2nd Monday in previews, last row of the mezz all the way in the back...all the way to the side. The day of the show came and my friend and I both had the day off (we work the broadway schedule). We decided to both enter the Lotto and if one of us won, we would take each other as our guest. As luck would have it my friend was the 2nd name called! We were ecstatic! After that my friend ran home to change and I wanted to sell/get rid of my 59$ seat. I was so surprised that no-one really wanted it. First I tried approaching the small cancellation line of 5 people since it was 1 ticket there was no one interested. I then tried putting it up for grabs on my Facebook, no takers. Lastly I put up a posting here on the broadway world message boards, no messages. I was trying to figure out what I was gonna do with this ticket, then a boy from the cancellation line came outside and said he wanted it. I was so surprised that I couldn't get rid of a fairly inexpensive Ham ticket, i didn't overprice it. I just wanted the 59$ i paid for it ,I thought it was fair karma for winning the lotto.

2nd story: A friend of mine obtained 3 standing room tickets for the wed matinee through their professional connections. So again we decided to enter the lottery. As luck would have it, I won the lotto! I took my friend with me to the front row, and we were able to bring 3 extra friends via standing room.

So for those that have knowledge on the lottery.  I didn't think I would ever attempt the lottery, but since tomorrow is live I decided to attempt it when I arrive into the city.  I know my odds are nill and I already have tickets for Wednesday matinee to another show, but this would be my only opportunity to enter.  My questions are as follows:  What is the beginning time to enter and cut off?  Do they still do live Ham4Ham outside the theater?  What is the time for this?  Lin does perform Wednesday matinee?  If anybody wants to pair up, let me know.  I only need one ticket.  Any info you can give, I appreciate it.

TNick926, Thanks for the response.  However, unless I read it wrong this is for the digital lottery.  I am entering the Wednesday matinee (tomorrow) live lottery.  If someone knows the answers to my questions, I appreciate it.

Click on the "lottery" square on the right, then scroll down and below the digital lotto info is the Wed matinee in person lotto info.

Also on that page scroll a little bit further down and the "show information" box has a click here for Javier's schedule link; whatever dates aren't listed for Javi are the dates Lin is scheduled to perform.

From the Hamilton website: A live lottery will be held at the theater for Wednesday matinée performances ONLY. Entries begin at 12 p.m. and winners will be drawn at 12:30 p.m. There will be 21 front row tickets available to lottery entrants. One entry per person. Tickets are $10 each, cash only. Winners must be present to win and must have a photo ID that matches the name drawn.

That said, the line is usually long by the time they start letting them enter at noon, but they do wait until everyone has entered before drawing. Ham4Ham will be at like 12:25p, right before the lottery is drawn. Yes, Lin performs on Wednesday matinees.

I went when it was still in-person back in August for two weeks in a row with no luck. One day my roommate asked me where I kept running off to and explained and I invited her to come along with me. They pulled all the front row tickets and nothing, and then the first standing room ticket was her name and I let out a yell and then my brain shortcircuited. We had enough cash between us to the dollar to pay for both, if it had been one more dollar we would have been outta luck. Still can't believe it.

For the digital lotto, would you have a better chance asking for one or two tickets? If I remember correctly, there are an odd number of front row seats. So if they don't have any SRO amd all the others that were chosen were pairs, then a single ticket would be better, right? Because unlike the live lotto, the person chosen can't decrease the number of tickets, right? However, if there's SRO and there's an odd number of front row seats, would the last pair be given one fromt row & one SRO? Or would they be separate?

Side question: SRO sold via the online lotto... Is it $40 or $10? Just wondering since SRO via live lotto isn't the lotto $10...

There are 21 front row seats for lotto.

Standing Room is not sold through the digital lotto.

Every so often someone gets an SR spot from the cancellation line.

SR is $40.

When they lotto off SRO you can use cash or credit card, so you wouldn't have been too SOL! Congrats!

There is no limit to how many times you can win. You may only enter once per each lottery however.
