Hamilton Tickets for Trade? (October 2016)

Hi everyone. I have two tickets for Hamilton for 8pm Thursday, October 13 and two tickets for 8pm Thursday, October 27 (both front mezz, center, row B and row C).

 

Does anyone happen to have two tickets for any day or time March 19 - April 2 or any weekend in the coming months that they would be willing to trade for one of those dates? If so, feel free to message.

 

I would be willing to pay extra if it's a weekend & your tickets were more expensive. Those were $177 each face value, but I'm not selling, just looking to trade one of the dates.

 

Also is it kosher to post this on the boards? haha if not, delete away mods!

I'm not trying to promote scalping, but for your situation, it might be a good idea to look at the average price of resale tickets for your desired dates and then try to sell your own for that amount. I think it'd be easier to find someone planning a trip in the fall who would like to see the show than to track down someone willing to delay his or her chance to see it. In turn, you could use the proceeds to buy new tickets. Just a thought!

Speaking as someone who's been trying to do that, it's difficult to pull off when the date you want is significantly sooner than the date you have. The tickets are more expensive the sooner the performance is, and Ticketmaster's massive cut of every transaction doesn't help. That said, the Hamilton resale situation is so rife with fraud that the Ticketmaster option should definitely be the first one you look at.

Also, you're looking for tickets at a time when the original cast will most likely still be in the show, and you're offering tickets when it's probable that some replacements have joined.

^ true didn't think of that. I can't resell until 90 days prior unfortunately since I bought them online. Oh well if anyone wants to trade + some extra $$ in case the cast changes before October, let me know. (:

I believe you may be able to sell your tickets through Vividseats.com, and I believe it's a good option.  They have a whole vetting process, and the buyers are very protected from fraud.  I don't think the sellers are paid until about 2 weeks afterwards, so that the site can be sure that the tickets are actually kosher.

For some or all resale options on that website, you can sell .PDF files of the tickets.

Are your Hamilton tickets for the Kennedy Center Show? If so, did you ever find a trade?

I am looking to trade for any show BETWEEN July 6 -- Aug 12 OR anything AFTER Aug 24

I currently have 2 Premium Orchestra -Hamilton tickets to trade for the Kennedy Center - Opera House
