You could doodle instead of take notes! It could be very creative! You could pretend to have your own muse to inspire you to daydream and draw instead of learning things in a boring class!

Oh believe me, I do. :) Or I write. LOL. It's a "collaborative teaching" class where we're put in with general ed people (3 of us are exclusively special ed teachers), but the whole class has been explaining stuff we learned in our first course last summer to the gen ed people who are totally clueless. That's what makes it boring. It had the potential to be an awesome class! I finally get a professor who's taught in my district (a city-wide special ed district for the most severe cases) and gets it, and we can do nothing with it! (I'm hoping I get him for Severe Disabilities next term!) At least when I write or doodle I look like I'm participating. One of the other SpEd guys actually brings a book and reads it ~ directly in the professor's sightline. :P
