Hi,
So I’ve been at this for days and cannot decide which seats would be best. I had tickets for Beetlejuice and then lockdown happened, so I’m going to try again, this time with Harry Potter. It’ll be my guy’s first time to NYC and Broadway play so I want to make sure I get us good seats! I’m overthinking.
my choices are
Orchestra D18, D20
DRESS CIRCLE C112, C113
ORCHESTRA M6, M8
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
thank you:)

I’d snatch up M6 and M8 before they’re gone. A bit far back for my taste (I like row E - J in most venues), but it’s a lot closer than the dress circle row C options (I believe that’d be the equivalent of orchestra row U). D 18 and 20 are almost too close, and are pretty far off to the side. You’ll miss a little bit, and likely have some of the “magic” spoiled.

D 18-20, for sure. You won't miss a thing, and, for your first time in NYC and on Broadway, I think you'll love being closer. I suppose it's a matter of taste, though.

I agree. You don't miss anything sitting off to the side (at least nothing of significance). And the show uses so much haze that none of the effects get spoiled (only one might get spoiled, but you'd have to know how it's done and then look for it specifically).
That said row M is good, too. Especially if one effect remains, as it is harder to see if you're in the front.

Posted: 7/28/21 at 9:12pmI’m probably late, but I echo what everyone else has said about sitting as close as possible. All the effects look beautiful even from the side, and if you’ve never seen the show the illusions will probably be well hidden if you’re not expecting them.

Dear Everyone,
thank you so much for your help! The D seats sold out…..BUT after reading through what everyone said, I got K seats towards the middle! I went to the view from my seat site and everyone loved their K seats! So I’m happy! I’m just happy that Broadway is open again!
Cheers to you and thank you so very much!!!

Enjoy! I’m seeing it again in Dec after seeing the 2-parter back in ‘18. My almost 9-y.o. daughter is now old enough to see it, so she’ll be joining us this time.

If memory serves, row K has more comfortable seats as it is the designated accessible seating row. The seats are a little bit bigger than the other seats. Good choice!
