I'm so sorry that happened to you, Mills. What is even more sad is that no other person has said that on this thread. Instead, they have attacked, insulted, and now mocked ("oh my) your experience. What an awful, sad thing. I cannot imagine. Compassion and understanding is severely lacking in the world today.

Let's face it. Most men dont think rape is possible. Men can never really empathize with rape. I've been told this numerous times by numerous men that they just don't understand why a woman doesn't "put up with it." That's the cold hard truth.

Yes, it really is. Men don't get it (including the men on this thread that keep disrespecting us both). Luckily, there are so many good men in the world and on this website, they have chosen not to be apart of this thread, defend Harvey, or other serial rapists. Empathy and compassion is easier for women, but men are capable of both, just not in this thread (with the exception of one).

Words like "most" are the ones that need statistical back up, or qualifiers like "most of the men I meet," or "most of the men I talked to."

 

Men are all over the place on the topic of rape.  From the most woke to the most enraged incels. 

 

People are complicated and issues are complicated and misogyny is real and the administration I remember poisonivy supporting is decidedly against people having empathy.  There is a lot of wisdom in this world, and I hope someday some of the denizens of Broadwayworld expose themselves to it.
