Funny, in my experience working with Quiara, there was an abuser in our group and she stood by this person 'til the bitter end."
Glass houses...
Wow.

I have a question that I hope doesn't get lost.
When Finding Neverland was previewing (and ongoing), I always assumed that the negative feelings expressed here about the show were influenced by what seemed to be amazing hatred for Harvey Weinstein, who was vilified here, for those who don't remember. I never understood the hatred for Weinstein, who had a pretty impressive list of movies with which he was associated. I am not in the business, so knew nothing about him behind his movie portfolio.
Looking back,
1. Was the hatred for Weinstein related to the rumors (or have people worked with him and based their comments on first-hand experience?)
2. Do you think that influenced your opinion of FN? I have to admit that I saw it 4 times between ART, the Lunt Fontanne, and Tampa, and loved it, although I think it could have been better.
Jarethan, I absolutely adored FN at ART and saw it repeatedly here. (I live in Cambridge and those early tickets were cheap before it caught fire and sold out.) I had never heard any of the rumors about HW (I have no personal connections to pro theater) yet during the event when HW came to the ART for that fake ha-ha match with the reporter, I found his vibe to be disturbing and domineering. He walked around ART like he was king. It never influenced my love for the show, but nor did any rumors influence that creepy cocky vibe I picked up from him just from being in the same space as him.
One of the most frank responses I have read yet.http://deadline.com/2017/10/scott-rosenberg-harvey-weinstein-miramax-beautiful-girls-guilt-over-sexual-assault-allegations-1202189525/
Laura Michelle Kelly just mentioned on live at five that Harvey made no advances toward her or anyone in the Finding Neverland cast. She did say that he was mean, though.
