Has Bernadette Peters ever straightened her hair?

I know this sounds silly, but after watching Wil & Grace the other night, I wondered if Bernadette has ever straightened her curly locks. I've seen her in so much and she always seems to have the trademark mane of curls. Anyone know of any "non-wig" straight hair performances or photos. I'd love to she her with straight hair. Thanks all. I'm just a gay man who'd love to see a different look on her, not a straight guy with a straight hair fetish. :) Just to clarify.

Bernadette did straighten her hair for her role in the TV Movie, The Last Best Year and it is a bit odd, though kinda cool to see her with straight hair. Though you can see the ends are trying SOOOOOOO hard to curl back up again. I know the video of the movie is available on ebay a lot and it sometimes runs on Cable TV - Big Lifetime type movie. It's actually the project where she became friends with Mary Tyler Moore, who is also in the movie. You might be able to find the video cover picture online though I think it has her hair up in a bun so you don't get tht total effect but she has it down a lot in the movie. It's VERY long!

I think I remember her hair being straight when she was sitting in the audience of The 1984 Tony Awards. She was nominated for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE and when Robert Preston read her name and the camera panned her,I believe her hair was straight. I could be wrong. Anybody have a tape of the 1984 Tonys? Let me know. Thanks.

I was in the elevator with her in the tower part of City Center back in the early 80s. Her skin was to die for.

I love her dearly, she's uniquely beautiful, has the most gorgeous skin in the business (no sun, ever) ... but seeing her on Will and Grace, I did think: maybe it's time to trim that mop. It's not about straight or curly, to me the look is just too big and youthful-unkempt and detracts from her otherwise stunning shape and sophistication. It reads eccentric more than a personal statement on a 60ish woman.

That glorious mane of red curly hair is her trademark Gotta love it... and I do... dearly I have had the chance to meet her three times in my life and enjoyed every second of each encoounter.

She recently preformed a concert in NYC at Lincoln Center (not VB) I believe and is planning a tour from what I hear. I think I remember that right

I am pretty sure "short, blonde and straight" was a wig for a part- I can't remember what though at the moment

As to what has she been doing, she continued with her concerts, even performing shortly after her husbands death; I don't have time to count, but I'd say she's done 5 or 6 concerts in 2006. Plus, she filmed a movie in Italy at the end of May 2006. (And of course there was the Will and Grace episode.)

She will again be co-hosting Broadway Barks with Mary Tyler Moore, in Shubert Alley, on July 8.

She'll be appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly on July 7 and on the CBS Early Show on July 8.

She has probably a dozen or so more concerts scheduled for 2006-2007.

Whew, I probably left stuff out but that's a pretty good off-the-top-of-my head run-down.

(Oh, and as to her hair color, she has said that she has brown hair.)
