Have there been no TONY commercials?

I admit I don't watch CBS as much as I used too, but I still haven't seen 1 commercial.

I saw one during Jeopardy yesterday, they were advertising Catherine Zeta-Jones and someone else.

I JUST saw (1 week before the show) a TONY commercial during CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING.

"GLEE'S Lea Michele & Matthew Morrison perform Live at the TONY Awards, CBS, Next Sunday!"

Slightly OT, but does anyone know if the Tony Awards telecast will be available on the CBS website after the show?

Just found out that there's a public event in Toronto at the same time as the Tonys... it's called Queer Divas and is hosted by Michael Urie. Performers include Lea DeLaria and Carole Pope. I'd like to go, but I don't want to miss the Tonys, either.

There has been very little advertising! They usually will at least put the banners around the Theatre District, but there hasn't been anything this year.

Not to be offensive, and I realize this may ruffle a few feathers... but why would an event called Queer Divas schedule itself during the Tony Awards?

That's like if I premiered my new film "Naked Bitches With Weapons" during the Super Bowl.

I don't think that they'd benefit a whole lot from advertising. Most of the people who are interested in watching will watch with or without commercials.

There's an ad in this week's People. But I'm not sure it ever actually mentions Broadway, just all the stars appearing or performing.

Just saw Sean Hayes do a short spot towards the end of Ellen.
