Head Over Heels Closing

Either way they aren’t making back their investment.

I haven't, but shows have started previews in mid-late December (Cate Blanchett's The Present started 12/17) and ATG are the new kids on the block.

All hypothetical: If the next tenant has a star or creative team with limited availability (Audra's play? Crazy For You? something else?), they could be married to a schedule that starts tech in early December and previews before Christmas for a January opening. After Head Over Heels' critical bashing and poor sales, ATG could be surprised that it's lasted this long.

But as you say, Nov. 18 could be "fake news."

Wasn’t burn this originally slated for the Hudson? Could be that?

For what it’s worth, the orchestra was only 2/3rds full, with the first four center rows of the mezzanine filled, and the rest was empty. It looked sad, but something is keeping that ship afloat

It could, but the announcement said it was starting previews in March. Also, when the Gyllenhaal "Burn This" was initially announced for the Hudson, it had a different producer (DEH's Stacey Mindich then, Hedwig's David Binder now) but same director (Michael Mayer).

anything is possible but everything would be odd.

In addition to everything else, a show starting performances in December would be expected as a known quantity at this point, even if not tied to a specific house.

It’s available on TodayTix through November 21st. Maybe you’re just off by a couple days...

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

Also, BURN THIS couldn't possibly open before the spring. Adam Driver and Keri Russell are both filming the new STAR WARS movie this fall.

And those 2/3 aren't paying much to sit there...
