Is there anyone that attended last night that could post a set list? Would love to see all the songs!! I know she opened with "Over the Rainbow" -- Beautiful!! Can assume some of the others, but if anyone has a definitive list, would be so grateful!!
Set list below.
After seeing her at the Encores! Production of Into the Woods, I was determined to see this performance. Such an incredibly underwhelming evening, lots of unnecessary improvisation to sound fresh and new (I suppose), but the result was a lounge show on a cruise. How she could manage to ruin her own work during the Sondheim segment was particularly frustrating (a play on what Bernadette has been doing much better for years now).
We came in for the last few days mostly to see this and ended up leaving at intermission.
Pro tip: finally got to Naro in Rockefeller for a pre-show meal…absolutely exquisite!

Agreed with the above, it was extremely underwhelming and the orchestra often drowned her out.
The Pops tend to drown out all of their guests. And why must they bring out that chorus? Further drowning out the lead. I loved her version of My House from Matilda. Love Heather. Wish she would come back to Broadway. She was THE witch.

I too was (unfortunately) completely underwhelmed by this one. Many of her arrangements (especially the No One Is alone/Children Will Listen mashup) were terrible -- would have loved to hear to do something from ITW (Last Midnight?) as written for the show. The chorus was extremely annoying, and yes she was inaudible for many sections.
Hoping to have much better luck seeing Marilyn Maye with the Pops next month.
Glad I’m not alone with the one; really wanted it to be great. I didn’t hesitate to leave at intermission, but it sounds like it only got worse with the chorus.

I didn't attend this concert, but I have been to enough New York Pops concerts where there is a singular guest artist, and like others said, they normally drown out the artist. If the artist is the star of the concert and has an orchestra, it is much smaller than a full orchestra, so the focus remains on the artist, not the orchestra.

A magical night. I'm all about the New York Pops doing these shows with Broadway stars.

I saw Headley in a near-identical program with the Philly Pops about 5 years ago. She sounded fabulous there, and the balance between her and the orchestra was just fine. No chorus that I can remember. Shame this came off less well.
