Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

Wonder if this will have an effect on any shows? I was due to catch a train tomorrow morning from Bristol to try and get tickets for the Sister Act matinee but...I can just imagine the biggest disruptions ever to the transport system and anyone commuting probably won't make it in.

Here in Swansea, it was bucketing down with snow (though it's stopped now), so I imagine it's making its way up! I'm so disappointed though, as my London-town plans will probably be scuppered Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

Anyone-else have similar problems?

I miss the snow bound days in the West End.

New York is just unbearable at the moment, just a few days ago it was well below zero and it was actually painful walking just the shortest distances, I actually got a cab to go 4 blocks! too much!

Australia is the place we should be.

Im sure some shows will get hit purely and simply by members of the cast and crew not being able to get to the theatre. Then there are the many audience members that simply won't travel in bad conditions.
I'm due home on Thur, what's the forecast?

Funny how the weather doesn't seem to hit Broadway shows.

Think things are a bit clearer by Thurs Mama.

Sorry your London trip might be in doubt Q Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

True Broadway never gets hit as bad as London, could be something to do with the wonders of our transport system in London :)

Having lived in Canada I'm always tempted to go 'pah this isn't snow' but after some very dicey driving in the valleys today I'm happy to stay home-though laughably Cardiff currently has brilliant sunshine and I've been sent home due to bad weather!

My family in the Swansea are snowbound.
My poor dear old mum hasn't been out of the house for 2 weeks.

I remember doing a panto in the mid 80s and during the evening show the snow heavens opened and the audience left in a huge snow storm, god knows how half of them got home.
My self and 2 others couldn't get to our digs and ended up sleeping in the police station cells. The police were very amused but i insisted that they left the key inside the cell with me! We then spent the next two nights in the theatre wardrobe department (theatre management had no idea of course haha!)

A few years later it happened again during panto and I ended up having Biggins stay at my digs for two nights-thats another story!

Supposed to get worse in South Wales tonight, and while I'm up for a day off for snow I feel sorry for those who've been stuck for a while

Decided to cancel my plans, as it was too much of a gamble Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow I'll try and re-arrange it at a later date, I don't think Patina was on tomorrow anyway (wouldn't want to miss her!)

Mama, my Mum came back from work and said all the main roads are not too bad, but all the side streets are just ice rinks. All this continous snow these past few weeks - It's unheard of!!

Whilst there was snow In north Bristol today there's no sign of it in the city right now but it's due overnight. Everyone else seems to have loads already Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

Lots of snow here in Yorkshire - I didn't even try going in to work today and won't tomorrow either: Scripps Avenue is like a ski slope.

Unfortunately I can connect to the office server from home so no excuses for not doing anything. Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

Heavy snow-fall in London tomorrow

I had a half day at work planned for tomorrow to do a two show day with my sister (our annual Christmas present to each other), but she's trapped in the snow in Edinburgh ( was meant to be back home yesterday and tried again today, but couldn't) so that's off...

Gah. Although having said that I'm not sure what we would've seen - she doesn't want to do Sister Act or Jersey Boys, we saw Legally Blonde in New York and she doesn't want to go again. On the play front I want to see Twelfth night, but she only saw it 3 months ago (different production though), so maybe it's worth waiting a while for some new stuff to open...

Delfont Mackintosh are offering alternative dates if people cant attend todays performances.
ALL performances are still scheduled to go ahead.

Same for Really Useful Theatre shows.

Les Mis has announced lots of returns here in Cardiff for anyone who is able to get to the bay tonight, though as snow here is rapidly turning to ice I wonder if more people might not show up/bother to take that up.

On the plus side I have another day off tommorrow!
