Idid get to see it. I loved the book and the film which I can't say for the show. Not as bad as Brantley said.
Was my first date with this woman I've started seeing. Hopefull the relationship will last longer than the show

This sucks. While the show wasn't perfect I enjoyed it and I love Will Chase. What a horrible Christmas present.
I just bought a ticket on TDF for the last performance.
What a shame..it seems like they even give the show a chance.

Hell, I'M turning Brian on this -- I keep listening to the demo cd I have now...I really want a cast album! The show itself was average, but the score deserves to be heard...it IS a pretty strong score.
I HAVE to hear the Bruce number again!

That made me chuckle.
Best of luck to the talented cast. They did the best they could with this crappy mess of a show.

Posted: 12/12/06 at 8:34pmIMO, the show came at the wrong period of time, chose the wrong theatre, and Will Chase chose the wrong show to star in.

This wouldn't have been a good show, no matter what period of time it came in.
That said, I do hope it gets a cast recording.

Posted: 12/12/06 at 8:57pmI'm almost kicking myself for not seeing this in previews when I was in New York, but then again I saw so many good shows that I don't feel THAT bad. Good luck to all the actors! I feel bad for Will Chase, first Lennon and now this.

I'm not surprised, but I would've liked it to stay a bit longer.
Last weeks performance was so good - and I was so hoping to see it again.

My parents were going to buy tickets to HF as a Hanukkah present for me, I was really looking forward to seeing it

Posted: 12/12/06 at 9:20pmYou know, it really seems like they're just not giving shows a chance any more. It really upsets me because I think this could have built an audience.

The imperial was way to big for high fidelity.
I feel bad for will chase, being in 2 flop musicals in a row

Posted: 12/12/06 at 9:27pmIt really is too bad that this is closing. It was such a fun show. I was really hoping to see it again at the end of December. So much for that idea!

Wow.
So unfortunate.
I feel awful for Will Chase and the rest of the cast.
Here's hoping they will all move on to bigger and better things!

Posted: 12/12/06 at 9:47pmUnfortunately, I will be unable to attend the final performance on Sunday evening, so I am going to the third to last performance on Saturday evening. While I didn't love the show, I enjoyed it much more than The Times, Wedding Singer, In My Life, Good Vibrations, Lennon and other shows that deserved to run fewer than 14 performances. I feel terrible for the cast and am glad I can see the show one last time on Saturday to support them. While the show probably didn't deserve to be a financial hit, it certainly did not deserve this fate. I'm sorry to see it go this soon.
