I dont think movies being adapted into musicals is a bad thing as long as they actually do an ADAPTATION and not an exact copy of the movie onstage with songs.
I think this one has a lot more potential than, say, Legally Blonde.

Posted: 6/14/06 at 8:56pmI saw an interview with NLB once about doing a role originally done by Steve Martin on Broadway and he made a good point, many plays on Broadway were originally adapted from books, and many movies are adpated from books, so the source really isn't the issue but moreso the interpretation
