High School Musical National Tour

Hey, Since Disney Theatrical is producing...do you think that they will bring it to Broadway eventually? I have heard rumors about possible sit downs in Chicago and L.A.

The national tour will sit down in Chicago for six weeks starting in July, and will sit down for two weeks in LA in December.

Bringing High School Musical on Broadway would be terrible...Being in High School Musical made me hate the show, so I may be a bit bias. I don't think if it was to make it to Broadway it would have any lasting ability. It would go strong for maybe a year then just die.

I'm pissed that HSM took over the LaSalle Bank Theatre, so now I have to see "Light in the Piazza" at the Auditorium. . bleecccgh.

it would be horrible if they brought the show to Broadway, but you know it would suck up money like a new Beauty and the Beast.

Those are tour stops. Sit downs are open-ended runs. HSM cannot sit down in Chicago because there is no theatre available.
