I believe that it is Mandy Patinkin's High G from "AND THE MONEY CAME ROLLING IN/AND OUT" from Evita.
Of course, I might be wrong.

Posted: 7/18/04 at 3:16pmIn the 1996 London Cast Recording of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, in "Gethsemane" at the part where he goes "See how I DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE." He holds that ungodly high note for what seems to be 5 hours.

Just listen to Man 1 in Songs For A New World.
That's what I think of when I hear "high notes".
