Cant wait to see this!! i wonder if Kyle will be a ghost. looks like Ana has taken over for Karen.


54 Below will present the world-premiere concert performances of “Hit List” on Dec. 9, press representatives for the project said on Tuesday, with a cast that features the former “Smash” stars Jeremy Jordan and Andy Mientus (who played the putative “Hit List” creators Jimmy Collins and Kyle Bishop), as well as Krysta Rodriguez (who played Ana Vargas, a “Hit List” cast member).

Cool, I would love to see that show. I am sure there will be a bunch of snide comments to this thread due to some people not liking "Hit List" from "SMASH" very much. Article oN BWW also said additional performers will be announced at later date so maybe Katherine McPhee will be there.

I think the scores to both original SMASH musicals were pretty cool- Hit List did an admirable job of blending actual pop sounds of the day with musical theatre conventions, although the story remained vague until the show was already cancelled and they put up the synopsis.

I hope they perform the Act 2 Opener "Haddonfield," which was never aired on the show because Joe Iconis hadn't written new lyrics for it yet. (The original involved a twist that the singer was Michael Myers from Halloween.)

That sucks, I wish we were given a warning about this and when exactly tickets were going to go on sale. It sold out in less than two hours. Boo.

With how quickly tickets sold out, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up sorting schedules and add additional shows because of the high demand.

Yeah, I just called, all sold out and she did there was no chance of additional shows due to conflicts with their schedules. Krysta is still on Broadway too. I keep forgetting. I was obsessed with Hit List and loved Smash. I have to see this even if I have to pay Stub Hub or Craigslist prices.

Im not sure how long First Date will run, (i saw it and loved it) but a smart producer should see how fast this sold and lock her up for a broadway run.

rumour is karen was supposed to star, but Ana and karen had a Shia, Alec blowout but this time they sided with the more talented actor and dumped Karen :)

Why in god's name would they do HIT LIST (which was simply unbearable on the TV show) over BOMBSHELL, which was actually kind of good? Ughhhh.

Well maybe because more of the actors who were involved with Hit List want to do it and the actors who were in Bombshell = not so much.
