Posted: 10/15/13 at 4:12pmThough I greatly preferred BOMBSHELL over HIT LIST and despite the fact that the former got poorer in context representation during the show's run, I would love a proper recording of HIT LIST. It would be a marked improvement over my homemade copy. We did get a somewhat proper release of all the BOMBSHELL songs, wheras HIT LIST has only been released as singles, and not every song has been issued. I'm rooting for a recording (as well as a similar event for BOMBSHELL somewhere in the future).

Posted: 10/15/13 at 4:35pmWhat is Katharine McPhee so busy with that she can't be singing in this concert as well? Half the songs in this show are between her and Jeremy Jordan and personally I'd love to see McPhee and Rodriguez do "I'm Not Sorry" since that version was cut from the show.

Wow, good for them. Even though I wasn't a fan of HIT LIST, it definitely had some talented people in it.
The reason why Bombshell probably hasn't had its own live show/concert is because it's a big show with big numbers and a rather big cast. Hit List definitely is doable without a gigantic budget. Even as a concert, Bombshell would be more expensive.

Posted: 10/15/13 at 5:43pmI just think that the music from Bombshell is SOOOO much better than the godawful dreck that Hit List calls a score.

Posted: 10/15/13 at 6:17pmYeah, no one cares how you feel about Hit List. This is a thread about a live performance of the incredible Hit List and all the details. Not Bombshell or your feelings. No matter how many times you post about them.

Posted: 10/15/13 at 11:14pmI'm curious how Hit List would play live, on stage OR in concert, because of how "pop" its production is on the singles. Trip-hop beats layered on top of live instruments, multiple layered harmonies, Auto-Tune, remixing onstage- either it would need to be done with a very busy click track, a live DJ doing TONS of production work, or a complete reorchestration for live instruments.
