Sh-K-Boom also has it up for preorder. They have, thankfully, changed the artwork for the cover. No more Bubblicious balloons.

I know the actual artwork was no masterpiece, but the new artwork for the cast album is downright embarrassing. Makes it look like a second rate karaoke album.

^I just saved the one you made Mr. Nowack, because that is so much better than the awful one they have. I really liked that art work and wish they had just gone with it for the cover art as well. Thanks for the much better alternative, Mr. Nowack.

Thank you :) That is why I posted it, so people can immediately change it in their iTunes. Really there is no excuse for such bizarrely bad artwork.
Could there have been an issue with the agency that created the original artwork or something?? I cannot imagine why it would be changed so drastically. Even the title treatment on a solid background would be better.

So, on Sh-K-Boom's website it says the album will be out in June, when you click on the Amazon pre-order it lists the date as July 21st for the release.

Happy to see that the artwork has been changed:
It's giving me First Generation BRIDGES marketing realness but definitely a step up from that placeholder and probably classier than the show's artwork.
Amusingly they kept the image URL the same virtually erasing all record of that terrible placeholder cover, as the new artwork is displayed above.

It's nice, but it sounds oddly mixed. I love the orchestra however. It's very lush.
