So is it weird that I couldn't find anything of interest and ended up not spending a dime at the flea market?

Autographed Spelling Bee playbill (current cast) - $10
Autographed Dirty Rotten Scounderels playbill (OBC) - free

My major purchases were a blue button-down Chicago shirt for $30, a Here Lies Jenny poster signed and personalized by Bebe for $25, and the Once On This Island reunion concert DVD for $20. I also bought two cds for $5 each - the 1995 Company revival cast and a Stephen Lynch cd - and a handful of items for $1-3 each, including a t-shirt somebody had airbrushed with a picture of Chita for a buck.

They could have made more money off of me if there had been Wedding Singer and Chicago tables, or more Sweeney items scattered about.

a jersey boys script

name plates from tarzan & phantom of the opera

ASU messenger bag and drink shaker

Hairspray coasters (no idea when theyre from but they were donated by Jenn Gamby)

This all sounds so amazing and fascinating. Absolute c0ck-tease for me over here in SF.

Someone can whip me with a wet-noodle later, but what's a window card?

And are you sh*ttin' me or were posters really $1?
And someone said (above) they got 15 CDs for $40?
*DAAAMN*

All of these great things and merchandise that would otherwise cost an arm and a leg are really that cheap?

How soon do people arrive to guarantee getting the good stuff? Do people stampede tables or is it relatively chillaxing?

Wow.

the prices really depended on the table. The Triton table had 8 billion copies of things like the Doubt poster so I guess they figured it was better to sell a lot of them for $1 than try to convince people that it was worth $5. Other tables had posters for $2, $5 or $10 and autographed posters were as much as $75. Truly supply and demand. And at the end of the day, a lot of tables are just trying to get rid of the smaller items.

At ten oclock its pretty insane, but by 2 oclock, when people leave to go to matineees, its calmer.

I am even more excited now, because after looking through the playbills I bought, I discovered that:

1. My 1776 OBC playbill is from opening night.
2. My OLIVER! OBC playbill has the envelope from the box office with the ticket stubs inside.

And the CHORUS LINE 6000th performance comes with an insert asking the audience to remain in their seats after the performance to help ring in the new year with the cast, and has the lyrics to Auld Land Syne printed on them.

My CATS 5000th performance playbill has a letter from Schoenfeld congratulating them, and that they can't wait until they reach their 6500th performance.

And the playbill I bought for NO, NO, NANETTE has a small, hand-typed piece of paper that says:

At this performance the role of Sue Smith usually played by Ruby Keeler will be played by Ruth Matland.

How awesome?
