Im planning my first trip to New York City since October 2019 and want to maximum my time to see as much as possible. Im staying just one night from Saturday into Sunday and can see two shows on Saturday definitely and Im trying to figure out Sunday since my bus leaves at 6pm.

The shows Id like to schedule are: Caroline, or Change, Come From Away, Girl From the North Country and then one play either The Lehman Trilogy or To Kill a Mockingbird.

What Im thinking is:
Saturday 1pm - The Lehman Trilogy or TKAM
8pm - Girl From the North Country
Sunday 1pm - Come From Away
3 pm - Caroline, or Change

How realistic is the timing on the Sunday double matinee attempt? Would you do Lehman or Mockingbird?

Im also trying to decide whether itd be better to risk it and rush for these shows or go ahead and buy tickets via Ticketmaster and Hiptix if anyone has any suggestions for that too! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Unless Caroline, or Change starts late, you likely won't get there in time. Come from Away starts late almost every performance (7-8 minutes after the scheduled performance time), which means it won't end until 10 to 3pm. I say skip it. It's on AppleTV, and the tour is always an option. I personally don't think the Broadway production is any more "special" than any of the other productions. Caroline, or Change, on the other hand, is not to be missed.

Very bold plan. I respect the ambition, but it does seem pretty risky.

It's interesting that Fosse's post above warns about the CFA-CoC transition, but honestly I'm more worried about you catching your 6pm bus after CoC. Where are you going? Port Authority? CoC could get out as late as 5:45 if it starts late, and Port Authority is 12 blocks away. You could probably do it if you literally run, AND you're sitting close to the aisle to make a quick escape (that applies to both shows actually), AND if you know beforehand where exactly in Port Authority you'll need to go. But it'll be tight.

Doesn't every Broadway show start no earlier than 7-8 minutes late? I thought that was a pretty standard thing.

I actually meant to comment on that as well, but forgot!

I say go for it knowing there's a chance it doesn't work :)  I was in town for one night, bought tickets for 8 pm SIX and 8 pm Waitress (nose bleeds).  I'd seen Waitress three times before but wanted to see Sara.  I saw all of SIX and then jumped across the street and saw the second act of Waitress!!!  Call me crazy but it was AWESOME!!

I’m also trying to figure out a 2 show matinee with Come From Away but SIX as show 2. In a perfect world, Come From Away starts at 1 and will end by 2:40, giving me enough time to quickly get to SIX by a 3pm start. But reading what many have said, Come From Away is expected to start late and end closer to 2:50. This works since my bus also would leave at 6pm but I’m not sure about the rush getting from one theatre to another, covid check, bathroom stop, etc. (assuming SIX would start right at 3pm).

Def cutting it VERY close and not giving yourself enough time to eat and walk between shows. Can you get a later bus? I'd say get a later bus and then you can take your time. I'd agree to skip Come From Away - unless there's an actor you really want to see - as it is touring and it's on Apple. And I'd say the same for To Kill a Mockingbird, it'll be touring, and Lehman seems to be a more unique option.

Assuming your bus is in Port Authority, and it's 20 blocks away from Studio 54, and Caroline has been starting late most of the time according to friends, you won't make your bus. So, I would go with three shows instead of four or book your bus for later in the evening.

It's possible but cutting it close. I would say do Caroline or Change and Girl from the North Country on Saturday, and then do TKAM or Lehman on Sunday to give yourself more time to catch your bus.
