We all remember when Nicole Kidman was signed for Ulla in THE PRODUCERS movie.
But is anyone else glad Uma has the part, and not Nicole? I sure am. Nicole is very talented - but Ulla seems ALL wrong for her. I just can't see Nicole getting all the comedy out of the role.
Uma looks PERFECT for Ulla, and from the clips we are getting, it seems she will do just fine in the "song & dance" aspects of Ulla.
So if Kidman still had the part - do you guys think she would've been good - or a miscast?

Uma Thurman is a real actress, and though I don't enjoy Kidman, she is as well. They seem to be more "real" than Nathan Lane.

Posted: 10/21/05 at 1:38pmI would have loved to seen Kidman, because I am big fan. I think she would have done a lovely job. But, I am very excited about Uma because she is an excellent actress as well. Judging by the trailer, she looks great in the part.

Last time I checked, Thurman was a damn good actress. Same goes for Kidman.
