I bet there have already been threads about this but too bad. I'm coming to the city soon and might have time for another show and I want to do rush for it. So how does it work? Are the tickets cheap? Are the seats any good? If someone could answer these questions that would be great!

I bet there are answers in other threads about this but too bad.

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.

The theatre sells a certain number of low priced tickets on the day of the performance.
General rush will usually go onsale when the box office opens or 2 hours before the performance. Limit of 1 or 2 per person. Same goes for Student rush.

Some shows sell their discounted seats via a lottery system which is usually 2 and a half hours before the performances names are taken and drawn a half hour later.

Hope that clears it up
Seats are between $20=40 each and some are cash only

It's a vasodialator, which means it opens the blood vessels, flooding your brain with extra oxygen. That gives you a "rush" and inspires euphoric feelings. If you take a whiff at the right time, your sensations are multiplied.
