Posted: 6/9/05 at 8:46amThere are a few who read the site and a few who actually post on the site...so be careful what you say, unless you just don't care that a certain performer knows you think he/she is hot, a jerk, or an untalented hack. :)

I'm sure many more Broadway notables lurk here than would ever admit it. And, some may post with real names others with fake.

Off the top of my head, Anthony Rapp, Fredi Walker-Browne, Marc Shaiman, Jason Robert Brown, Jeff Marx, and Jeff Whitty have all openly posted here
and someone once pretended to be Nathan Lane, but he was a fake and was caught

Wax Lion says that he is *almost* certain that recognizable Broadway and other performers read Broadway World on a regular basis.

considering BWW interviews, photographs and holds concerts featuring broadway performers, id say they all know about it...
but id bet a larger percentage of performers visit the site to see thier event photos or interview or whatever than they do to read the message board.

Though a lot of it is salacious gossip, it's still your public and it's important to know what they are saying/thinking/feeling. What you as the performer do with that information is your own beeswax.
