The Apple is awful and amazing at the same time.
It's one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

The list is very odd. It's missing so many classics from the "golden age" of cinematic musicals and it includes some questionable titles (Cry Baby?) as well.

I definitely think Flashdance is a stretch as well. It did include some iconic songs, but that's it. Kind of surprising that they didn't include Footloose because of some of what they included.
And they are missing a bunch of Gene Kelly films too.

134 but there are probably at least 100 missing from that list and a few that really shouldn't be there.
taz - You have to see Too Many Girls! It's one of my favorites! Typical 30s college musical with some really fun production numbers. Lucy and Desi met for the first time filming this (Desi and Eddie Bracken reprise their roles from the Broadway production). I'd love to see this show get a revised revival a la No, No Nanette or Crazy For You.
