I'm thinking of bringing a group to NYC for some shows - what is a ball park figure for group seats? -

It depends on a lot of things:
-- How well a show is currently selling...the better show is selling the smaller the discount. Some don't offer any group discounts.
-- How many folks you are buying tickets for. A group of 20 is going to get a smaller discount than a group of 100.
-- Where you are willing to sit.

You might be able to get group tickets for $50 or so if you choose and Off-Bwy show like THE FANTASTICKS or ALTAR BOYZ.
Also, the earlier you book your group, the better the discount in many cases.

I paid $26.50 for rear mezz at Phantom & Legally Blonde.

I paid $60 for Rock of Ages orch. seats.

Thanks - I called a ticket broker earlier this evening - Spiderman - Adam's Family - and Wicked - all for 50 to 60 - rear balcony - but we are going for the experience not so much our seats -

It definitely depends on the show, as well as the time of year - there are often extra special group rates for winter and fall, as well as preview periods of new shows. Student Groups also can get extra deep discounts - Wicked has Mezz seats for $41.25 and Chicago has Mezz seats for $28.75, among others. The Disney shows also do tons of group specials.

Willep- I paid $40 for a BIlly Elliot group ticket in the Rear Mezz.
